Natural Gas Utility & Pipelines Corrosion Control

CCC has experience dealing with many of the corrosion problems in the Natural Gas Industry.  This includes Federal Requirements for corrosion control on all natural gas and petrochemical pipelines.  CCC has experts on steel pipe line corrosion including: steel pipeline coatings and proper coating application, steel pipe field splicing requirements, steel welding and X-ray requirements, steel pipe material selections, stress corrosion cracking, impingement corrosion, pipe handling for coating protection procedures, steel pipe under roadways, railways and in encasements, cathodic protection, cathodic protection monitoring and recording stations, over-the-ground corrosion surveys, anodes, deep well anodes, test monitoring sites, stray current corrosion, and etc.

CCC can help with the application of plastic piping including: proper selection of piping materials, solving environmental attack problems, stress failures, water penetration, splicing procedures, storage, direct boring installations, and etc.

CCC can provide expert assistance with aboveground and underground storage tank corrosion.  CCC has installed many cathodic protection systems for underground storage tanks and designed several for above ground installations
. CCC has helped with the design of tanks varying in size from a few thousand gallons to well over 1 million gallons.  CCC work has included installing cathodic protection on existing and new tanks, providing coating systems both external and internal, selection of tank materials, evaluation of internal corrosion damage to existing tanks, and installation of monitoring systems & tank liners.

CCC can help with the general maintenance of a natural gas or petrochemical facility including: above ground piping, support structures, manholes, test equipment, buildings, repair tools, vehicles, and etc.
