Grounding Systems and Design Analysis

One of the side benefits of being a corrosion engineer is that you also become an expert in grounding practices, materials, and procedures: especially if you have on staff a Professional Electrical Engineer with over 40 years in the Electrical Power Utility Industry.

CCC engineers have that kind of experience.  They can find problems with faulty grounding.  CCC can help with the cost effective grounding of equipment and facilities located in very high soil resistance areas.  This is especially important to computers and manufacturing equipment that can’t withstand grounding that is high resistance.

CCC can assist with the design and construction of complex ground grids and mats.  CCC can help design floating grounds that are useful when systems require isolated neutrals.

CCC is very good at designing deep well anode grounding systems.  Such grounding systems can provide excellent protection to large areas of pipelines and can sometimes be the only way to obtain a low resistance grounding value in high soil resistance areas.

CCC can help review your existing grounding designs for buildings, power substations, manufacturing sites, Telecommunication sites, broadcasting locations, and many other difficult locations.
