Chemical Plant Corrosion

CCC has experience working with large chemical plants, and related manufacturing corrosion problems.  CCC can determine the causes of many types of complex corrosion problems often found in chemical plant facilities and equipment.  Corrosion in chemical plants is expensive and costly to the manufacturer.  Corrosion problems can exist due to extremely high process pressures & temperatures.  Failures can occur because of improper mix of materials with various acids, bases, oxidizers, etc.  Corrosion can be caused by the poor choice of materials such as: improper stainless steel alloy, improper aluminum alloy, improper selection of steel alloys or components, improper use of plastics, fiberglass, composites, high pressure destruction of improperly selected high strength components, and the list goes on and on.

CCC can do on site tank inspections both internally and externally.  CCC can make repairs or provide engineering assistance even provide engineering specifications for repairs.  CCC can also stop problems before they occur thru evaluation of batch processes and their effects on planned equipment & facilities.

Whether you need a tank liner installed, a pipe failure analyzed, or just some good advice, Columbia Corrosion Control is the one to call.
